How is live dealer blackjack different?

Live dealer blackjack is different from your traditional online blackjack game in that it’s not like a video game. You’re actually playing with a live dealer that’s in a real blackjack casino. You can ask them questions, hold conversations, chat about strategy and so on.

Is it possible to count cards?

Yes. However, you’ll run into a couple of challenges.

One – the dealers only get about 50% of the way through a deck before reshuffling. So it will be difficult for you to get an accurate count.

Two – Online casinos that offer live dealer games have terms that state that if you’re caught counting cards you can have your account closed.

So given the difficulty and punishment, I would say that counting cards isn’t worth it. You’re better off going to a brick and mortar casino if you want to beat the casino.
